Academics
Our goal is for our students to be competitive as college students and college graduates; to do that, our rigor and expectations in middle school and high school must be high.
By reaching to meet these expectations, students demonstrate that they share this core value of graduating from college and that they are committed to creating bright futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Titan Academic Assistance Program & Tutorials
Any YES student who has failed two or more classes will be placed in the Titan Academic Assistance Program (TAAP). A student’s placement in TAAP will be for a minimum of six weeks, or one grading cycle.
During this time, students should focus their time and efforts on making sure that they are earning passing grades (70 percent or above) in all classes. Students should take advantage of study hall times, make an extra effort to contact all teachers with questions about homework or projects, and schedule lunch and/or after-school tutorials— if necessary— to bring up their grades.
Teacher offer tutorials after-school from 4-4:50 pm. Teachers will communicate with students and families their individual tutorial schedules and if/when students are encouraged to stay for tutorials.
